红外图像细节增强算法及FPGA实现方法研究

摘要: 在传统红外增强方法的基础上,研究了一种基于权重的新型红外图像的细节增强方法,有效凸显红外图像直方图的相关特性,在提升红外图像对比度的同时,尽可能保持图像细节完整。在温度变化显著的各种复杂场景下,该方法不仅能抑制图像的背景噪声,还具有显著的图像细节增强效果和较高应用实时性。经过试验验证,该方法可大幅提高目标场景的对比度,同时可有效凸显目标细节,提高信噪比,具有良好的工程实用性。

Abstract: Based on the traditional infrared enhancement method,a new weight-based infrared image details enhancement algorithm is proposed,which fully utilizes the histogram characteristics to enhance the contrast of infrared image while keeping the image details.In various complicated scenes with obvious temperature changes,the detail information can be guaranteed in the image while suppressing the background noise with this algorithm which has good enhancement and high real-time performance.After experimental verification,the target contrast is improved greatly,the target details is emerged effectively with this algorithm,and the signal-to-noise ratio is increased,which has good practicability.
