摘要: 相位噪声是太赫兹波技术应用中的一项关键技术指标,如何精确测量太赫兹波的相位噪声是太赫兹技术的重要研究方向之一。采用太赫兹下变频技术实现相位噪声测量系统的频率扩展,搭建(110~500)GHz太赫兹相位噪声测量系统,实现对太赫兹频率源相位噪声的测量。实验结果表明,所研制的太赫兹相位噪声测量系统的底部噪声优越,可用于(110~500)GHz频段太赫兹频率源相位噪声的测试,在太赫兹相位噪声的计量测试、标准研制及相关产品转化等方面具有广泛的应用前景。

Abstract: Phase noise is one of the key specification in the application of terahertz(THz)wave technology,how to accurately measure the phase noise of terahertz wave is an important research direction of terahertz technology.In this paper,the (110~500)GHz terahertz phase noise measurement system is built,which is based on frequency expansion by using the principle of terahertz down conversion.The experimental results show that the measurement system has expected noise floor and can be used to measure the phase noise of terahertz frequency source in the frequency range of (110~500)GHz.It has a broad application prospect in the measurement and testing of terahertz phase noise,standard development and related product transformation.
