Research on Calibration Method of the Cross Line Laser

Abstract

Abstract: Horizontal lines and plumb lines which are upright to each other can been emitted from cross line laser. It has been widely used as the benchmark in the construction of building and fitment. Quality of construction can be directly affected by the errors of cross line laser. According to its basic principle, three errors were analyzed about their form reasons and expressions. The methods of calibrating these errors were designed and carried into execution.

According to the theory of Newton′s Third Law, the calibration device is researched and designed to calibrate the bolt tensioners. The measurement error and repeatability analysis and uncertainty evaluation show the linearity is good. Considering the measurement error is within ±1%, which meets the calibration requirements for bolt tensioners, the designed calibration device is capable to carry out the calibration work for bolt tensioners.
