A Method of Inertial Attitude Measuring Device Calibration

Abstract: Based on the principle and composition of inertial attitude measuring device,the attitude angles of the device are transferred to the working face of the cubic mirror. The calibration methods, which are used to calibrate three-dimensional attitude angles, are brought forward. The working faces of the cubic mirror are measured by the electronic theodolites. Base on the definition of the attitude angles, the angles are converted. The calibration of inertial attitude measuring device is realized. The experimentation, which aim at the inertial attitude measuring device, is put forward. The feasibility of these calibration methods is demonstrated by experimental cases. Finally, the measurement uncertainties are evaluated in the calibration methods.
