Abstract: Molten steel level controller is the key quality control point to prevent steel overflow and breakout accidents,and it is an important technical means to ensure the continuous casting production of square billet.The four important characteristic parameters of the process control accuracy,repeatability,linearization and water gap width of the detection range have a significant impact on the measurement characteristics of the molten steel level controller.Through studying the calibration method for the characteristic parameters,the scientificity and accuracy of the molten steel level control can be effectively improved.
