Abstract: Working principle and signal characteristics of the particle impact noise detector were analyzed.According to the sensitivity index requirements of the key components of the acoustic sensor,a structural design method of the sensor’s sensitive element based on the resonance frequency analysis of piezoelectric ceramics was presented.According to the working characteristics of acoustic sensors,a sensitivity calibration method of face-to-face test was proposed to evaluate the performance parameters of acoustic sensors. The test results show that the calibration method is easy to operate, and the measurement uncertainty of 2.0 dB could be got, which could effectively verify the resonance frequency and sensitivity of the acoustic sensor, and provide a metrological guarantee for the reliability of the remainder detection.
