Design and Analysis of a Novel Range Gain Calibration Method for DC Voltage Source

Abstract: Deal with the problem of range gain calibration for DC voltage source in calibration laboratories, in this paper, a novel method was proposed by which the range gain of a device under test (DUT) can be directly calibrated using one reference calibrator and one multimeter.Thus the calibration errors only depended on the technical indexes of selected equipments.The method was easy to be implemented in general laboratories and can be fully automated.Experiential results show that, compared with traditional resistive divider techniques, the novel method can achieve almost the same calibration accuracy.The calibration expanded uncertainty is better than 0.3 μV/V up to 1 000 V.
