Abstract: The principle and operation method of measurement of smooth ring gauge based on the Mahr PLM1000 are introduced. This approach is compared with traditional measurement methods, and the advantages of the proposed method are justified-simple , convenient, efficient,and low in error .Results demonstrate that it is superiority compared to the traditional methods.
