Result Analysis of the First Comparison Experiment for the High Capacitance Standard

Abstract: The traceability of capacitance above 1μF is difficult to solve. In order to ensure the uniformity, reliability and accuracy of high capacitance parameter in national defense metrology system.Four calibration laboratories, for the first time, participate the (10μF~10mF)/100Hz high capacitance comparison experiment, organized by Beijing Orient Institute of Metrology and Test, which obtains valuable data. The paper publishes the experiment results, and further analysis the data shared by four laboratories. The weighted arithmetic means of four laboratories measurement results are reference value of the comparison experiment, the weighting factors are proportional to reciprocal square of uncertainty declared by each laboratory.
