Development Technology for 137Cs, 60Co Large Aero Plane Source

Abstract: For the challenge of traditional fabrication method for 137Cs and 60Co aero plane source in aero gamma spectrometer calibration, and ensure the uniformity of the plane, the modern grid lattice spraying technology was adopt, radioactive standard solution of 137Cs and 60Co were quantitative drip on the bottom liner filter paper individually, heat sealing after dried, fixed the plastic package slice on the trapezoidal aluminium plate with epoxy resin. 8 blocks of aluminium plate compose plane source of regular hexagon side length of 1m.The expanded uncertainly (k=2) of plane source is 4%, the heterogeneity is better than 10%.
