Abstract: Before the vehicle flight test，the grid fin deployment and mechanical properties should be examined. The current ground simulation test method was not able to simulate the deployment process and the impact action to the shell and grid fins effectively. A new feasible ground equivalent test method based on elastic rope was founded to simulate the process of grid fin′s deployment. The method could provide valuable reference to other similar tests.
