Abstract: This paper presents the material longitudinal wave velocity and attenuation coefficient measurement of underwater acoustic materials using transfer-matrix calculation plus impulse method. Describes the method using monostatic transducer, broadband impulse signal generation and sample measurement results. Completed the measurement uncertainty analysis.
