Research on the Time Control Method based on the Damping Coefficient Control Algorithm

Abstract: In the process of accurate synchronizing the local time with the reference time standard, there is always a trade-off between the synchronization accuracy and the frequency stability of the steered target. A time steer method based on the damping coefficient control algorithm is presented in this paper. Firstly, the history data is fitted by using Kalman filtering algorithm and the phase difference, frequency difference, frequency drift between steered target and the reference time standard can be obtained. Then, the time steer strategy is obtained by analyzing simulation model which is built on damping coefficient control algorithm. The simulation result shows that the time steer method based on the Damping Coefficient Control Algorithm can ensure frequency stability of the steered target under certain time deviation constraint.
